I drew this for my cousin Mika’s wedding shower. She is getting married when the dogwoods bloom in New York state.

Jackson and Audrey
I like to take Jackson with me to work when I can. Lately I have been doing some writing for a small non-profit in Gastown. Jackson came with me one day when I was doing some research at their office and we met Audrey, who seemed nice at first…
Here’s another view of Audrey…
And this is Jackson. I’ve had him for two and a half years now, but I still can’t quite draw him right. His face is not so long. He is a papillon, male, tri-colour, 3 years old.

Three small paintings
These are three small paintings I donated to the silent auction for DOXA. They are based on drawings I’ve done and posted here. I used acrylics and graphite.
Queer Comics Panel at Word Under the Street
On Sunday September 28 (it seems so long ago now!) I had the immense pleasure of participating in the Queer Comics Artists panel at Word Under the Street, the comics/zine portion of the Word on the Street festival.
Here we are…
This is me, Patrick Fillion, Janine Fuller, Ken Boesem, listening to Tyler Dorchester… John Crossen is sitting to my right… Janine is such a fabulous wonderful moderator!
Here are two more photos of me, one showing my intense love for Hothead Paisan, and the other showing my fabulous socks, which have comics on them– not sure if you can tell.
Thanks to Patrick’s boyfriend Fraser for the photos…
