This is a workshop I did for Thompson Rivers University, Serious Play: Crafting a Small Comics Memoir. It was the keynote for their very cool Creativity in the Open event on May 5, hosted by the TRU Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching. If you’d like to make a four-panel memoir comic in about an hour and a half, give it a try. Or if you’re curious about how I think about and teach comics, this is a pretty good representation.
